Jim Bob at the Borderline

To the Borderline on Saturday night, to see Mr Jim Bob, once of the parish Carter USM, now purveyor of very funny books and trenchantly witty solo songs. He sang some Carter songs, read from his brilliant new book Driving Jarvis Ham, and was generally very very excellent. I’d spent the day doing personal family stuff which had left me sad and bad-tempered, but the world looked much shinier after five pints of Guinness and one Jim Bob. If you can get to see him, do it.

He reads books….
… he plays songs
